“The multiplayer is a-mazing. That is why this has quickly skyrocketed to probably my favorite game to play online that is an arcade game.” - Roosterteeth
This made my effing day.
It is my extreme honor to announce to the tumblrsphere that Apples to Apples will be coming to Xbox, PS3, Facebook, and Mobile this holiday season. This is what I have been doing with my life (that is, producing) for the last 10 months. I hope some of you will enjoy it :D

Complete gaming marathon going on at GAMBIT right now.
I popped in to watch some GAMBIT folk play Castle Crashers in costumes.
From their website:
The Complete Game Completion Marathon is a 48 hour event where participants come to GAMBIT to play games for charity! Players will come in teams to play games in weird, strange, or interesting ways! Play Mario with your toes! Complete the original Final Fantasy using a party of four white mages! Play the Starcraft 2 campaign only using SCVs!
I’m pretty sure the two packages waiting for me when I got home- and my resultant excitement- qualify me as one of the biggest geeks ever.
My game hit Alpha today. And also, that picture I put on 9gag has become a mini-meme (and has over 600 likes). Guess which one I am more proud of?
[I am also, as usual, being referred to as a dude in the comments]
I LOVE REACH
But it’s always more fun to play with people. Tumblr folk, feel free to add me as an xbox pal: genconn.
Happy shooting people in the face!
My team and I are getting ready for to submit our Gold Candidates for our games on Monday so I’m getting a little nostalgic. This is from the beginning of the summer. Team on Fire, gettin’ it done.
This week in “games to waste time with”…
Games about color! I suck at anything involving arts, crafts, or colors, so these are especially challenging for me. Enjoy!
Poikilia (coming soon…)
While I’m here…
Here are some more quick and lovely games I’ve been playing:
Black Forest: A series of tiny, experimental games
I can’t vouch much for the last one other than to say the mechanic is pretty awesome and helped us during our design phase. The other two are fantastic.
And, while I’m on the subject of things I care about and you probably don’t, here’s a look at an upcoming game that I am excited to follow: Slambolt Scrappers
The game was developed by Fire Hose Games (a local indie favorite, especially among GAMBITeers) and has already garnered its fair share of attention. Keep an eye out for it in the near future— tetris meets flying fighting game. Trust me, it’s fun.
Is this a real screen shot? Wow, Nintendo…

I’d have to disown myself if I didn’t reblog this CH video: If Games Had Super-Easy Mode.
Super props for fidelity to the games. The wii fit spot is pretty damn good.
Edit: showed this to the game lab at lunch. Much approval.
